Hey Reader, One of the questions we see a lot is: how do you afford to travel full-time? Isn't it expensive? This one is tricky to answer because we don't know your lifestyle and the things you need to budget for. But one thing I can tell you is - we don't spend more than we did in a house. We financed our motorhome and jeep, so we have those payments each month but otherwise our "housing expenses" are pretty much none because use Thousand Trails to camp for free all year long! I know, I know. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is, right?! In this case it's 100% true! You can read more about Thousand Trails HERE, but the short answer is - yes we camp for free all year long. The long answer is - you need a camping membership. That was a Thousand Trails 🤣 Since we've started full-timing we've spent more nights at Thousand Trails campgrounds than any other campground because we like to save 💰 We've been to Texas, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida (lots of time in Florida), New York, New Jersey and South Carolina without spending anything on campground fees!
